And we're back on the very much delayed New Orleans post!
New Orleans, also affectionately referred to as "NoLa" is a city charmed by Cajun culture. I spent all my time there in the French Quarter, a famous tourist area with plenty of vintage buildings and French-inspired architecture. I loved it there. Pastel-colored brick walls and white window panes, cheery flowers blooming among short thickets of green, tendrils spilling over wrought-iron balconies.
The weather was ideal for picture-taking. It usually gets really hot in Louisiana during the summer, but that Saturday, a light afternoon breeze whistled through the streets every few minutes, making the heat a lot more tolerable.
I spent half the afternoon with Charles, Wen and Lina and then the next couple of hours with my cousin Dina. I hope you like the pictures! :) These were taken on Royal Street.
